DME Performance



Daisy Meadows Equestrian was established in 2008 in Hamilton, Ontario and is co-owned by Daisy Kosa and Dan Allison. The DME performance team offers a structured training program and a supportive, positive environment and approach for both horse and rider based on the classical German training scale and natural horsemanship techniques.


Our Performance Training Program with Daisy Kosa and Dan Allison offers:

  • Lessons for riders of all ages and diverse levels in hunter/jumper and English and Western dressage 
  • Training rides/groundwork sessions (e.g., lunging, loading, long lining) for your horse 
  • Mentorship in setting and accomplishing goals for those with ambitions inside or outside of the competition arena (e.g., personal, rider levels, coaching certification)
  • Support and facilitation of on and off-property clinics, including regular in-house opportunities with multi-time Olympian Cindy Ishoy, Olympic-level judge Cara Whitham, and jumper trainers Don Brandle and Hyde Moffat
  • Coaching for the competitive rider at:
    • On-property schooling shows for both hunter/jumper and English and Western dressage
    • Local Hamilton Hunt Club jumper and dressage series 
    • Dressage competitions across Ontario, primarily the Caledon Dressage circuit, from bronze to platinum levels, including English and Western dressage
    • Silver West (Angelstone) hunter/jumper circuit
  • Part-board/lease opportunities for those who don’t own their own horse
  • Wellness packages for clients who want an enhanced training program
