DME Academy Manager and Owner

Dan Allison

Dan Allison has been the Daisy Meadows Equestrian Academy manager and has been a co-owner of Daisy Meadows Equestrian Inc since 2021. He is a certified Equine Canada Instructor, specializing in developing foundational skills and stable position in his students of all levels. He takes a horse-centred and positive approach to starting horses as a trainer. His competition record has primarily focused on Western games. However, he is comfortable starting horses for both English and Western disciplines. He also has had a long track record of successful groundwork, including lunging and long lining and resolving common handling issues such as anxiety related to trailer loading so that both the horse and handler can move forward with the skills they need to work together confidently in the many situations they may encounter from the barn to the trails to the competition ring.
