Team Coach

Daisy Kosa, as coach of Daisy Meadows Equestrian, focuses on backing and developing young horses so they become relaxed and happy competitors. She also teaches a broad range of students including juniors, young riders, and adult amateurs, and well as riding instructors, who compete on the provincial and national circuits in dressage and show jumping. Daisy currently trains regularly with FEI judge Cara Whitham and multiple-time Canadian Olympian Cindy Ishoy. Her competition highlights (listed below) include being a member of Canada’s 4th place Young Rider's team for dressage at the North American Young Rider Championships, a declared athlete for the 2011 Pan Am Games, and most recently, in 2015, bringing a talented young gelding she started under saddle named Explosif owned by Katharine Renison, into the competition ring, achieving scores to 77%. Outside of the horse world, Daisy works as a Research Associate at Women’s College Research Institute in Toronto, Ontario, and is working toward completion of her PhD in Health Research Methodology at McMaster University.
